When we met Philip Connor Jr. we were blown away by his ambition for his family’s joinery business. The Philip Connor brand identity needed to portray their exacting standards as master cabinet makers and catapult them from a parochial practice to the go-to craftsmen for the best interior designers in the country.

Initial chats with the family revealed that this identity should push the envelope for what people would expect from a typical cabinet maker – a contemporary twist on traditional craft. Throughout the brand we marry beautiful serif type with a vibrant, rich and modern colour palette, a reflection of their practice, merging traditional hand-made techniques with progressive design

 

 

 

Attention to detail is everything with these master craftsmen – when discussing the values of the business, we likened their practice to that of michelin star chefs – obsessed and immersed in their profession in every way. Touch points of the brand had to reflect these values, elevating them as a premium and artisan workshop.

 

Although still a relatively young business, Philip Connor & Co has a wealth of experience carved into it’s foundations. It’s an exciting time for the team and we can’t wait to see them blossom in the coming years.
