Uncut Gems is the latest from the Safdie brothers, the New York siblings & director duo who are carving their own path with a refreshing, gritty style of cinema. This anxiety inducing film follows a gambling addict in NYC’s diamond district. Be prepared for beautiful abstract visuals, an amazing ambient soundtrack by Oneohtrix Point Never and a chaotic storyline. Highly recommended!
